I offer detail-rich, semi-realistic custom portrait paintings with rendered look (colors, lights and shadows), drawn and painted by hand and delivered digitally to my patrons digitally or as prints.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Select your order's options to get the price,

- Upload the reference photos,
- Submit the payment,
- I'll share the finished artwork for one round of revisions (more details below.)
 
I WANT MY ART PIECE IN ANOTHER SIZE/ASPECT RATIO
Okay. The 'width' of the artwork is our reference and the maximum width possible is 100 centimeters.
 
If you're looking for a certain size that's not listed, select the one that's just below it in 'width' and tell me the required custom dimensions in the Order Notes.
 
For instance, if you're looking for an 80x80 (cm) painting, select the 90x60 (cm) option.
 
Please note printing can be fulfilled only for the listed sizes.
 
HOW CAN I SHARE MY REFERENCE PHOTOS FOR THE PORTRAIT DRAWING?
After you complete the checkout process, you'll receive a confirmation email that will ask you to share the reference photos.
 
WHAT MAKES A GOOD REFERENCE PHOTO?
The best reference photos come in high-resolution & good lighting conditions, and show:
- the people in different positions and from different angles,
- full-body shots and closeups,
- height differences,
- clothes reference,
- etc. You got the idea!
 
Note: In the Order Notes, you may mention the eye and hair colors, as these features often do not show correctly in photos.
 
WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL SPECS OF THE ARTWORKS?
Color Profile: RGB (CMYK is available upon request).
DPI: 300 DPI up to 60 cm (width) and down to 200 DPI for 90 cm (width).
I'll always use the maximum DPI possible.
 
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINISH THE DIGITAL ARTWORK?
The basic option (one figure, no background) will be delivered in 2 days.
The other options need more time. The maximum is 14 days.
If you want faster delivery, please mention it in the Order Notes section. Rush fee charges (up to 15%) may apply.
 
CAN I SEE THE SIZE, FINISHING AND SPECS OF THE LISTED PRINTS?

IF I ORDER A PRINT, WILL I ALSO GET THE ORIGINAL DIGITAL FILE(S)?
Yes, of course.
 
I WANT A CANVAS, NOT A FRAMED LUSTER PRINT (OR VISE VERSA)
They are the same price, just tell me your preference in the Order Notes.
 
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DELIVER THE PRINT TO ME?
After the digital painting is finished, the printed artwork will be delivered to you in 1 to 3 weeks. You'll get a tracking number when the print is shipped.
 
The estimated delivery time is just an estimate, it’s not a guarantee. You can receive the order late for reasons, like failed delivery attempts, or service disruptions.

I JUST WANT A SIMPLE PATTERN FOR THE BACKGROUND
Detailed backgrounds normally cover the whole canvas and are full of small and big details you want to include. Example: background photo reference.
 
If this is not what you want, just select the 'No' background option and inform me about your request in the Order Notes.
 
WHY THE PRICE IS HIGHER IF I DON'T WANT YOU TO SHOWCASE THE ARTWORK ON YOUR PORTFOLIO?
As an artist, I'd like to keep the full copyrights of my artworks. I want to be able to use them in my art books and online for promoting my work.
 
If the client wishes that I don't keep or use the finished art piece, they are in fact asking to own its exclusive rights, and this -by definition- is more expensive.
 
However, in both cases:
- I have to be credited (as the artist) for the artwork wherever it's showcased.
- The artwork cannot be used commercially. (For commercial projects, please fill in the quote form and I'll be glad to send you a proposal.)
 
WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THE ARTWORK?
You won't :)
 
However, we should work together to avoid such a situation. For this, I wish you describe your request in full detail. If you forget something, you may write to me by email when you share the references.
 
I'll also keep you updated during the progress.
 
WILL I GET A REFUND?
The portrait painting service is custom and non-refundable. Returns, exchanges or cancellations are not allowed.
 
WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE SOME CHANGES?
If you want something changed after the artwork is delivered, I allow one round of revisions. This means you may send me up to 5 minor changes in one email, and I'll offer you live access to my screen as I do them :)

CAN I PAY BY CREDIT CARD? (I DON'T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT)
If you create a PayPal account, you can actually pay using your credit card. PayPal also offers you buyer protection.
 
For clients who don't have a PayPal account, credit card payment is accepted through the website, here. The portal accepts all types of credit card brands, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
 
If you go with this option, please select Manual (Offline) Payment during the check out process, then pay through the credit card payment page and send me an email at: muhammad@alhyari.art to inform that the payment has been done.
